Hey team, I’ve had this green Bali slimmer frag for about 3 months and have only just noticed it’s got white tips within the last couple of days, not sure if it’s growth or dying? Polyps are out.
Parameters are -
Mg: 1500
Ca: 450
Alk: 8
Nitrate: 13.8
Phos: 0.1
Salinity: 35ppt
Won’t let me upload photos from my phone

A simple picture will tell the whole tale. Take it in white light so we can actually see it.

My Slimer has white tips all the time but it's steadily growing.

If you take a picture then hit the attached file button below, it'll help you go back to your pictures so you can click on it to upload it.

Hopefully this is a good enough photo! The polyps are actually green in person, doesn’t look washed out like the photo, Ai prime is on 100% and the second picture shows wavemaker placement, not sure if the flows directly hitting it but that’s the only place in the tank I can have it to have everything else happy.

Looks happy and growing.
Good job OP.

Edit:
What are these?
Could be the photo and how taken but looks like algae?

Looks to be a piece on the right side but it’s not there now. Battling brown hair algae at the moment. The white tips don’t seem to have polyps coming out of the centre like I’m seeing on everyone else’s ones?
