I have the following as backups: return pump, wavemaker, heater, skimmer, salt, and RODI (275g). Both my main and backup tanks have a DIY battery backup that can run one MP40 for 40+ hrs. Both tanks are running with similar parameters so worst-case scenario, I can evacuate corals & fish from one to another (space permitting tho).

I keep back up bandaides antibiotic ointment duct tape. When working with lr I've always finished with my fingers or hands bleeding. It's never a completed project if I didn't deposit a couple drops of blood. Corals don't seem to mind
