Would you consider shipping a plate coral? Also have several Baby Orange Fungia plate corals. $60 each. They are about 2 inches in size right now. Growing quickly.
Sorry no.Would you consider shipping a plate coral?
When a plate dies there is a small chance (if you’re lucky) that the plate will spawn baby plates off of it. That is how they reproduce. Some people don’t even know about it and throw away their dead plate. Do not do this. If your plate dies throw it in the back of the tank somewhere where it still gets light and wait. Mine took about 8 months before it started to show tiny specs of orange.how did you even get all those baby plate corals.
Where do you live? That’s awesome yours plates spawned I bought a tank break down a few years back and there was a big dead plate with a ton of babies on it. Now I have had around 50-60 babies grow to 2-4” and still going. There green with orange mouth. If you ship down the road I would take some of the babies.
