I hate to have to do it but I just can't find a place in our (small) house for another tank. Some battles are not worth fighting  you know? Anyway, this is a one of a kind (well, one of about a dozen in the US from what I can tell) Vitrea Unico 56 system for sale. Tank, stand, light, controller and overflow/plumbing parts all included. Retail on this is...wait for it....$4950. Its brand new, never seen water. A few small scuffs on the stand from transport but nothing that stands out as it not being showroom condition. This thing is a stunner!!! Not expecting to get anywhere near the retail value for it but heres the rundown of the system:
Vitrea twin LED lamp controlled by their $750 touchscreen controller. Allows for basically any lighting/timing setup you could imagine. Program moonlight cycles, spectral and intensity shifts and anything else you like. Not sure exactly what the PAR is on this but it certainly looks like enough to grow a wide variety of corals in the tank. Also includes the unique clamping mechanism and beveled glass hood.
Vitrea Tank- uses a starfire-like low iron glass and is bonded with black silicone. Edges are diamond beveled for that extravagant look. Central overflow holes already cut.
Vitrea Stand - gloss red, heavily built stand (fiberglass?) with frosted glass trim and door to lower sump area. Makes for an elegant display that is functional too.
I won this at a swap a couple months ago and have been admiring it in my basement since . Just a breathtaking tank and light fixture.
Here is a link (sorry in advance if linking to this isn't allowed, I'll remove it right away if requested). I'll get a pic of it up but the pic here is of my tank, mine is the one on the left. Vitrea Unico 56 is a classy aquarium set up with a lot of glass
First $1750 (less than 40% of the new cost, cheaper than an Elos midi and includes a light and controller!!!) gets it or really open to a trade/partial trade on it. Crazy or Rare Livestock, Aquaillumination setup, high end skimmer or calcium reactor, what have you? Can deliver in the Midwest for a reasonable fee or possibly further during the summer (have trips to New York, Seattle planned, could probably hold it and bring it with me if a deposit was made). No shipping at this time, its just going to be a heartbreak if this thing gets damaged. Only caveat to the deal is that you need to share some pics of this thing setup with me
