I have avatar chalice going out of control.... What other coral can sting it? Monti?

Also I wanna build a shelf around the left and right rocks to prevent avatar from growing over them.... To produce shade....

Can I use plastic file sheets black for that?!

Any ideas to control it's expansion? Thx

I think in the fight between chalice and monti chalice wins. Acros tend to be good against chalices but it depends on the acro. One of my lobos killed my Hollywood stunner in a matter of two hours.

In my experience non-mycedium chalices beat mycedium chalices in a fight if that helps haha

I am not an expert on chalice ID, but my I am pretty sure my Echinophyllia bumped into my mycedium (space invader variety) and the mycedium definitly lost. . .

I recently got Halloween chalice colony. Will that sting avatar? Probably the other way? Might place in top of avatar...
So chalice can't sting the under side of another chalice, right?

Can galaxia win against Avatar?

One sure way is to just frag it. Get yourself a nice pair of bone cutters, and just clip away. It's called pruning, and we all have to eventually do it.

Forgot to mention, it is under the brace that's wide and very inaccessible!
