So i wanted to show that i don't have much calcium and magnesium consume with alot of macroalgaes and skimmer running or water changes.

That would be my expectation as well. :)

OK, it is a bit high then and I can see why you wouldn't want it going higher. :)
When I applied for a mariculture permit from Texas, the state had no previous infrastructure, so I opted to keep Texas Wildlife & Fisheries out of the negotiations by choosing to be a zero discharge facility. Hawaii & Florida have extensive infrastructure under the Department of Agriculture. My home state of Louisiana choose to use WIldlife & Fisheries to regulate mariculture which resulted in focus on protecting indigenous species and not a “business model“ for success.

In the long range, I saw a serious problem with my business model that revolved about maintaining chemistry without the ability to discharge water. AquacultureRanch was a hobby business that to succeed would have required more work than I was willing to invest. That combined with excessive energy cost to remove heat from Texas summer motivated me to shut down retirement past time.
