I had the pleasure of seeing this tank and set up today and it is simply amazing. My wife was drawn to the display like a kid in a candy store and I am the one in the hobby, LOL. Kudos Ross, awesome fish collection too.

I may have missed this in the 13 pages of content, but do you use RODI water?
Fairly certain my husband would divorce me on the spot. But if I had a tank like that, it would almost be worth it XD (jk, jk, my husband feeds my menagerie addiction already)Im always for hire!
Before: I had my mixing Barrels here taking up precious space.

After: I swapped the Breeding system for the Mixing Barrels. I left one in the corner for my ATO. The breeding system was completely separate of the main system and was a huge pain. Now I am going to tie them all together and have the mixing station in my utility room.

Another reason for this, is that my PH is steady at 7.8-8.0. I would love to get it up to 8.0-8.3. Right now the utility/furnace room and my fish room are connected. I'm considering putting a door between them.
I cant see that a Gas water heater and Gas furnace are helping my PH at all.
I might even bring in a air exchange for the room.
I already have my skimmer hooked up to outside and I've tried to use a PH scrubber with little to no results.
I think I read that you were going to tie a dehumidifier to drain into your sump? I am almost certain this water would have lower much than normal PH. In my experience, the water is actually kind of fouled since it collects more than moister in the air (and to me it even smells acidic but that could just be me). Would there be a way to filter it before sending it back into the sump? And maybe aerate it?
Very nice!Big Updates today!
I can officially say I'm done building the tank! Its been 2 years exactly since I put the wood box on the stand and I dont know if there is anything else I want to do to the tank anytime soon. I hooked up the breeding system into the main pump and cleaned the whole room. I have to say Im very happy with everything!
To the good stuff....Pictures:

Really awesome stuff man. I’m a 2-3 weeks away from installing my 500 gal. This got me extra pumped about it.
Cool stuff man. Your setup is fantastic!
Very nice!
But can you explain the plugs (outlets) on the ends of the tank? How are those set up?
Tony
also what are you planning to breed? Or is that rack strictly for quarantine at the moment?
