@ m0jjen - It’s running the SPS AB+ at 65% intensity.
Ok :) Currently running 3 radion xr30w pro gen 3 over a reefer 625 xxl at 100% AB+ with diffusers and get about 250-350 par around my SPS (roughly 12 inches below surface) and was looking at the stellar hybrid to get a solid 300-400 par in that area :)

Cool! Mine are running without diffusers. If you are considering the Stellar, take a look at my review on r2r.

Thanks for checking my build out :)

I've read it today actually! :) Found this threat aswell as the review thread searching for info about the fixture! The main shortcoming from your review as I see it is the ventilation of the shortened plate, which i wont be using over a reefer 625 since the 575 mm width is pretty perfect for a 600 mm wide tank :) Sure the acrylic shield removal seems abit odd since they have another (better) solution for it on their previous fixtures but not a dealbreaker since its done about once a year and is possible without removing the whole fixture :) Great review with alot of information for people like me, interested in buying! :)

...lots of measure twice cut once....throw away and start over. Then the PVC cement was "jelly like" so more delays. Anyways I was able to get most of the manifold glued together. I few more pieces to go and it will be ready for a leak test.

@CDavmd, how do you like your PaxBellum reactor since I am thinking about getting one for my new up and coming SCA 150 build>?

I like it thus far in terms of form factor, appearance, etc. My tank is still in the build stages...had to delay once again as life gets in the way- so I have not actually used the Pax to grow algae yet.

Right on! I have been desinging my system for over a year and a hlf now.. I am AM a month out from pulling the trigger on the sump below, its a CL-44 Synergy Sump and my Klir filter system.
I will be starting my new FLSharks SCA 150 BUILD thread here in the next few months.

Well... this snails pace build is moving again. I had spoken to @Broadfield back in June about making some display panels for me. He was great and we worked out the details. It was very slow in coming and I essentially stopped further progress on the build until the panels were done.

They arrived yesterday. It’s a modular insert and fits the space perfectly. I had to remove the door to get it in and partially disassemble the unit. I also needed to adjust my wiring coming from the sump side but it wasn’t too difficult.

I had purchased some toggle switches with a labeled panel months ago and he was able to cut holes for them and mount them.

So it’s in and looks great. Workmanship is tops! It has red led’s and these really cool contacts that create the electrical connection when you magnetically snap the front face panels in place.

It was a long wait but well worth it. Here’s a couple shots of how it looks. I’m going to finish organizing the power bricks, breakout boxes, etc this weekend and mount my Apex and such. Hoping to level and have everything ready for water by Monday. Then the long slow cycle....

Lots of progress this weekend. All the bricks and wiring nicely coiled, secured and labeled. Made sure everything would be easy and accessible in the future if needed.

The modular insert is in and all my apex goodies are mounted.

Need to check the tank with a spirit level and shim as needed. Also have a couple more toggles to wire to the breakout box.

After that - ready for water. Making water now and hopefully I’ll have her filled in the next few days.
