so far what i like about the light:
*the full blue is very pleasant on the eye unlike orpek blue bars.
*ease of control when i have no phone with me ( manual dial control )
*powerful spread, that photo i took with only 2 a500x without any supplement blue bars on the side, the bottom of my tank can finally get some decent light without need to add any more lights.
cons:
*focus lens adapter totally cuts off light spread on the side
*light output is so hot that it can burn your skin if you accidentally went under it
*still need a wifi dongle to control them via app

It grew into that. thhat grafted part was dead forr somerreason, and all of sudden came back alive, but instead of green, it's this dark purplish and pink eye.

alright, finally decided to take down my frag tanks and just focus on the main display tank. I no longer have the energy and time to monitor them anymore, will have a list of stuff for sale soon.

Well I’m done with glass sump, this huge crack at bottom was slowly leaking water for a week.
So I swapped out with a ruby sump and it’s way smaller/taller than my liking, might have to look around for a bigger sump. Or just speed up and shut down the frag tank sooner than planned.

finally taking out racks in the frag tank and moving some frags over to display tank. Move some fishes over to display tank as well.
progress is slow, but it's what it is. I dont want to rush it and ended up killing my corals.

auto pilot, yes but tank maintenance is still there, also prune corals.. kill pests etc, and would like to see some water/electric saving by shutting off those frag tanks.

yeah knowing your garage... its gonna take a lot of power to heat all those water, maybe foam all 3 sides and insulate the sump as well, also add glass top to keep the water in? i had my 300g system in old garage that was not insulated, and the electric bill in winter was killing me.
On another note, my new battery ( Anker Powerhouse II 800) came in rescue for the last few black out days, and it can run my pump straight for 24 hours. comparing to gas generators, it's quiet, and works right away.

• it's loud comparing to battery (0 db to 50db)
• i can't run it in house/garage
• battery last me 24 hours for just pump operation, while i have to fill the gas every 8 hours for the honda generator. ( and gas price is high now )
• as for the price range, new vs used, i'd rather go with new without problem i have to deal with down the road with used generator (
pretty much no brainer for me to go with the battery.

you can only add 100w-200 at most or it will stop the power, still better than nothing. i tried to run my dual 300w and it just wont let me.
my next battery upgrade would be this, which should do 500w heater easily, but i haven't had the need to heat my water in my garage in the last few blackouts ( insulated garage )

( it does 9.6kw, but saddly it wont fit my drive way, it's way too long. )
