ok finally got some time to sit down and update my current setup.
Everything has been settled, top frag tank will host mainly SPS and bottom will house softie/LPS. but I made a box section in LPS just to put BTAs in will post picture of that setup soon.
but of course, every upgrade would have some coral/fish deaths :/
due to low temperature in my garage and I didn't have enough heaters during the upgrade, temperature and unstable water parameters made some of my corals bleached. Mostly SPS.
Ibn's garf bonsai bleached and m fav blue tort, also some other sps that I dont even want to mention : ( overall, most birdnests and green psammacora survived. non of the softies/zoa died. some of the candycane bleached as well. but that's about it.
I have some green psammacora to give away for members, come get it.
other non-tank upgrade casualties
LTA ( that giant one ) was harassed by the maroon clown so I moved it to sump and it just melted few days later ( that was before the frag tank upgrade )
One of the clarkii clown jumped from frag tank
one perc clown disappeared in the DT ( not sure if it jumped, i can't find the fish jerky anywhere on the floor or behind the tank )
and I swear this will be the last of my tank upgrades for years to come.

oh yeah, and the copper-band died of starvation, I found my peppermint shrimps just last few days, they finally comeout of hiding.
I killed most of my aiptasias in the tank with kalk paste, it works like magic.

Finally gave up and redid the pvc pipe flow on the frag tank stand. More updates coming and photos as well.
Corals are stabilized, most sps are gaining back color, and finally stop bleaching left and right.

New 40b sump fuge area has two marinepure blocks and chaeto growing area. gfo hangs at the top, currently not running.

between 2 jobs and a family, 3 tanks, i'm getting 0 time sitting down and track my tank progress :/ but alas I'm updating something now.
got some sps frags from @bruce Spiegelman and @Daddio , Thanks guys! they are looking great btw,
tried a gyre 150 in the 50g lowboys, no go, it can't push enough water across 4 feet like mp40 does half the effort. but the thing is really quiet. so gyre is gone.
aqua forest 1 2 3 can't catch up with the dosing requirement, i have to get a new set every other month.. so i have to use kalk instead.
i tried the reverse light hours for the sump ( it used to be on 24hrs for sump, and 10hrs for DT/Frag tank) and guess what, @flagg37, my ph went up to 8.0 and stayed there for a good amount of time instead of swining from 7.6-7.8 ( i still need to reconnect my external air tubes to my skimmer ) but the garage is pretty well ventilated with air coming from outside with side vents.

making softie/zoa frag tank fishless so I dont dump any food in there but the reefrodi/coral food. to reduce the waste in the tank and less work to cleaning it up. might do the same with SPS frag tank as well soon.
currently battling hair algae in the frag tanks, and still trying to figure out which fish eats my algae, i thought it was my yellow tangs but turns out it wasn't, ( good thing i didn't get new yellow tangs..), what happened was I put some frags with bad GHA into my DT magnet rack on the side, and next day the GHA is all gone, so there's a fish that's mowing down the gha, i'd have to 'catch them' and move it to the frag tank just to clean up my GHA issue, the other fishes that i haven't tried are, hippos tang, fox face, flame angle, squirrel face, and damselfish???
i may have forgetting something but.. here's the brain dump for the moment. oh yes i need to kickmyself to record water test results :/

Update since last post:
1. few weeks ago, I gave up on bare bottom, it's taking too much work cleaning up the bottom and everytime when i blow the dirt, my frags will catches on and it just fuses the GHA growth. I broke down and added silica play sand, seeded both of my frag tanks with some sand from DP tank.
2. daily turkey blaster blasting at the dino spots/on frags, i didn't remove the dino carpet by hand. just remix them with the sand and leave it as is. fast forward today, dino has died down with almost nothing at all. (GFO was running at the same time, I'm still feeding the frag tank dirty way )
3. one of my small BTA decided to walk and killed itself.
4. got another cardinal to pair up with my current one.
5. took a day trip down to santa cruz an visited AC, Neptune, License to Krill ( they were closed on Sunday [emoji20] )
6. got a really nice zoa rock from @flagg37, those drag/chaos/zipper were the size of dime! maybe even bigger.

So it's been 1 week since I came back from my 4 weeks vacation, came back to see everything was functional and only casualty was the loss of a cleaner wrasse. calcium reactor was still online and my ph was finally at 8.3
