These little trees popped up over the course of a few days. They are REALLY stuck to everything and even ripping them off leaves roots. I even took out an ornamental piece ( sunken ship, please don’t judge, kiddos had to have it), scrubbed with a brush and the trees were still there! I do have chaeto in the back but looks totally different. Is this the dreaded bryopsis? Should I put fish back in quarantine and restart my whole tank? Could it have come in on chaeto (supposedly sterile from algae barn) or the Imagitarium water? Thank you!

If anyone ever reads this thread and has similar whatever-this-was in their tank, an emerald crab eliminated all of it in about 5 days. It was crazy, he went to town. He was in the tank for about 1.5 years before passing away. Not sure how old he was when purchased from LiveAquaria because he molted that very first week and several times in the early months.
