Guys
My ato just dumped 5 days of ro with trace because of a stomatella on the sensor

In the ro was

Iodine
Strontium
Manganese
Molybdenum
Vanadium

Are any of these toxic at slightly elevated levels ?

I have 20% water change as an option

How big is the tank and how much was pumped in?

I would do the water change if you're worried about it. But I don't see anything there that would cause a tank crash, but again, it depends on how big the tank is and how much got pumped in.

So it’s 400 ltr
Basically it’s the maintenance dose for the next 5 days
All the traces were targeted at the bottom of the range so it’s likely with the addition it’ll boost them to the top of the range but in one hit and that’s what’s bothering me

I'd say you're fine.

The least toxic would be Mn, but you are good to go. That’s not enough to overdose anything where it would start killing corals.

Will this work glued over the sensor to stop the pesky stomatellas licking my sensor?

Seems ok as long as water can get in. Not good for pH and marginal for conductivity to have low exchange between the sensor and the bulk water.

Another trace dump , not got around to fixing this issue but why I’m writing this is because every time my ato dumps a few days worth of rodi + trace my corals all perk up
This is the only thing that’s changed in days

Unless the dump stirs up particulates they like to consume, it seems they may appreciate the trace elements (assuming perks up really is a positive and not a random response).

OK, it it may very well be a positive sign, but I'll point out that many question the inflation/polyp extension assessment and health.

I'll note that some corals put into my refugium with lower flow inflated far larger than the same corals in my display tank.
