Aquascape thoughts?

Excitingly, I'm moving forward with my 60g cube build. Tank is 24x24x24 Deep Blue and I'm playing around with 'scape ideas. How about some input in these possible designs? I'd really like to have some height and also desire a lot of open sand bed...

Are you using any type of epoxy or glue to hold your rock in place? I'm asking because I literally just ordered my rock from BRS and wondering what others are using to hold it together. I vote for #3...or 4

I like #1 or #3.

Are you planning to keep corals and if so what kind. Be careful of going straight up as corals my shade each other.

I think I like number one. I have the same size of tank and I can tell you that I feel like I have used too much rock. I am wishing I had a little more space in the sand, of course I have been on a Acan kick lately so I'm using up a lot of real estate. I would think real hard on the type and amount of corals you want, its real easy to get too much rock to try to make the tank look good. Here is my rock when I first started my 60.

I am going to be using some epoxy, but not a ton. I'm going to use stack/weight for majority support but then adhering some connection points for stability. Going to use the E-Marco 400 Aquascape Bonding Mortar recommended by Farm Boy Reef.

Thanks for your input! I'm actually going for the vertical look, so when it's filled in with corals it's like a tower; I've googled cube scapes and I like these looks the best. My tank is 24' so the vertical shape looks really great with it.

Thanks for the input! It's crazy but what is in each pic is only 35lbs of rock. I think it might be took much for my taste! And haha, yes, absolutely- I want a lot of sand bed for my Acans!

Been playing around some more and think I'm partial to sticking with this design...I want something a little more unique than scapes I've seen before that has areas of height (which this does) a few crevices and caves (check) and a lot of open sand bed. So while the design isn't traditional, I'm liking the way it looks from all sides...

As long as your happy, thats all that matters. I do like it though, dont forget you have a overflow that will take up some floor space.
