Hello all,
Just about to have my first ever SW tank wet after about a 7 month period of time. I just recently got a 50 lb shipment of Marco rocks in and wanted to know what your opinions were on the aquascape I came up with. Eventually will be a mixed reef. 55 gallon reef ready so dimensions don't give you a lot of room to work. Thanks in advance for comments all help to this newbie is greatly appreciated. I have 2 extra medium sized rocks that I will use to fill in areas once inside the tank.

Also, in your experiences, what works best to epoxy the rocks together so I can make sure I don't have issues with a tumbling scape?

I like it. Might ultimately want to take the highest rock off to give you somewhere at the top for things to grow. Looks like you might be too high there.

Looks nice, but might still ebnefit from shifting some of the rocks front or back to get more horizontal space for corals.

With 12" to play with, I don't have any room to really be able to move the rocks at all. Any advice on how to create a better scape or how to achieve that would be appreciated.

So I really read through the aquascape tips thread and got a few ideas. I finally had the courage to do my best at busting up some of the larger rocks to mold something more. Please let me know what you think again, thanks in advance! (The box is just holding the larger structure up and the structure to the right is epoxied together)

Standard 55 gallon tank dimensions are the worst to work with for a reef aquarium. I think both of your designs look good. I actually thought the first one looked better from the standpoint of coral placement. It had more slopes and ledges.
You'll probably end up with the rock either very close or right on the back wall of the tank. Try to get a good power head on at least one end of your tank to keep the water moving well back there.

It's something I have to consider when I scape, living where I do. So, I drilled through the rock and placed thick acrylic rods through them.
