I like low turnover in my sump so the return is just a trickle. 6095s are for flow.

Interesting. What size is your display and does your display tank stay at the same temp as the sump with such low water turnover?

It's not that low. I like <5/hr so stuff can settle in the sump, and the sump is quieter.

I use vivid creative Random flow nozzles which assist with water distribution and flow.

I use the same thing, 3/4” RFG nozzles on my Loc line for my 600g where flow is displaced by two Vectra L2 pumps and a closed loop with two Vectra L1’s.

I use 2 3/4" Siphon Stopper nozzles from Custom Aquariums.com on my custom 340 gallon display. They prevent backflow of water to the sump and work really well even after 6 - 7 years. Got to test them out yesterday as I had a bulkhead start leaking on me, had to shut the return down and partially drain the tank to replace the Bulk head. New Bulkhead = no more leak and sump didn't overflow at all.
