HI
I recently got a used trident and it has the one link plug to power it. Years ago I bought a used apex it came with EB8 and EB832. I never attached the EB832 .
To power the trident I needed the one link port saw that the EB832 had it and went to install it. Problem is every time I attach it to any aquabus port on the EB8 the apex removes the EB8 from it module list.? ANy idea what it keeps doing this ? It says my firmware is up to date on my EB8 its version 12 and firmware on the APex is up-to-date also.

thanks in advance for any ideas help etc

Plug the brain into the eb832 and then the eb8 into the eb832. I believe it’s an issue where the old module(eb8) can’t support the eb832 but the eb832 can support the eb8. If that doesn’t work plug both into the brain.

I plugged directly into apex and it lost my dos eb8 and display module unplugged it and picked them all back up.

Sounds like an issue with the eb832. Plug it in by itself. See what it does and report back. No usb connected.

If all else fails you can grab a dc24 power supply for the trident and skip the eb832 to just get the trident going.

Sound like a duff EB832. Suggest calling Neptune support.

I revert back to my UK upbringing occasionally. duff = not useful, or not working,
