Having some weird connection issues after recently updating last night, I've tried resetting the apex and router. Also power cycling everything, it will connect for a few minutes after reset and then drop off again. Anyone else or any ideas?

Awesome that sounds fun… do you have an apex jr?Not saying this is your issue, but I had this occur to me months ago.
I had to open the unit, replace the microSD card within it, and rebuild my system from a backup.
Lol yep they told me it looks like a hardware issue and ill need to rma it, out of warranty by a few months of course. This exact thing happened with me less than a month ago. I booked an IT service call with Neptune and they remoted into my apex using teamviewere. After he poked around the tech told me there was no software or firmware fix, they had no parts for my A2 to fix it, so the only fix was that I buy a new A3 unit from them. My Apex is under 3 years old. I can post a screenshot of the email they sent me post service call confirming what I just said.
Shameful.
yeah I did the same and after they accessed it i was told it has a hardware issue, waiting for response on the options for rma. Its completely dead just purple light now after trying to factory resetHave same issue and got emails from them late last night asking me to add support to my fusion account. Someone broke something.
Yeah a hardware issue caused by the software.yeah I did the same and after they accessed it i was told it has a hardware issue, waiting for response on the options for rma. Its completely dead just purple light now after trying to factory reset
Submit a ticket with neptune and explain exactly that, hopefully they realize enough people with the same issue that its a problem on their end.after updating to 5.12 5O24 on my AC3 Pro, been having connection issue as well. it would work for a bit if I reset via the head unit with the little pin, but connection would dropped shortly.
Goodluck, is your system ok till next week without the working apex? They want to do a phone support session. Next call slot is late next week.
I'm all fixed I followed the advice of popping a new card in. It appears to bootstrap aos from there and I just restored my old configuration. Had to put it into wifi setup and now everything works. I'm going to still talk to these folks and try to see if they can at least publish a wiki on how this thing bootstraps.Goodluck, is your system ok till next week without the working apex?
Its corrupted files on the sd card. New $8 card (empty) and I am back in business. If you can limp along locally the save config function still produces good data and can be used to restore everything.Pretty sure the issue is the update bricking the micro sd card, depending on what options they tell me I may try replacing it myself
