Local reefers for sure will have better prices than your lfs. But don’t forget to help your lfs as much as possible!

I Just picked up a double headed nice blue torch, my first to add to my hammer collection, for 55.00 bucks. Was from a local person who has a reef store out of their garage.

I typically give anything I frag out of my tank away for free. I don't have any torches that need trimmed currently but will in a few months or so if you want to send me a message then.

Don't get me wrong, if I paid $100 for a coral and retail now is $150, I'm probably going to want a coral in trade or a little pocket change... But I'll probably throw in a few cheap corals for free

X2 on this. I just picked up a 2-3head dragon soul for 200$ cad. Most stores here are 200 a head. They even have raffles on local coral groups.
