Hello! I’m new to the hobby. It all started when my kid stole a hermit crab during our trip to Florida and I had to give it a fighting chance. Swirl the Hermit is long gone but I’ve come to love the hobby and just upgraded from my 10 gallon starter to a 40 gal AIO cube and a new 20 long in my office. I would love to find someone in my area to talk to! Let me know if you are local and into this stuff!

Fantastic! How kind of you to offer! I’m new to corals. Started a 10 gallon saltwater tank last summer and upgraded to a 40 AIO about 6 weeks ago. I am anxiously waiting to add corals. I go to Cinco Ranch Aquariums and they have been awesome about answering all of my questions. I was there yesterday and hoped to bring home some starter corals because my water tests were looking good but they talked me into waiting a while longer. I also just started a 20 long in my office but I’m not sure if I will be adding corals in there or keeping fish only. I will probably add corals eventually but nothing any time soon. All this to say, I’m excited to meet people in the hobby but not ready for frags yet!
