There are different types of bubble coral. There are a few different shapes of bubble. Yours looks like a Physogyra lichtensteini or a Plerogyra discus. The OP's is likely a Plerogyra sinuosa.Sorry to jump in but we have one of those and only had it a month, ours looks different, the polyps are smaller, is ours ok?
Fair enough thanks, so after the Latin does it look okThere are different types of bubble coral. There are a few different shapes of bubble. Yours looks like a Physogyra lichtensteini or a Plerogyra discus. The OP's is likely a Plerogyra sinuosa.

Excellent thank youYes, it looks perfectly fine to me.
oh yours is beautiful!!!Wish I could help. Mine thrives in NO3 15-20 and PO4 0.2-0.3 so close to yours. Your calcium is high but I'm not sure if that would cause issues. I've had my bubble over 7 years and it's thriving. That said I added a green one a few years ago. I placed it in the same light and flow as my other one and it only lasted a month. Sad part is I have no idea why one thrives and another dies.
