Anyone have a regal angel with a emp angel?

Anyone have a regal and an emperor together? Emperor is my dream fish but I love regals too. Really miss mine anyone have them together? I know theres a huge difference in temperament so I dont want to get a regal if the emp is just going to bully her

300 gallons. Decided not to at this time, dont want a regal getting bullied. Ill put a more aggressive angel in with the emperor at a later time

Yes its possible, I have done this but that doesn't mean that it will always work. Situations are always different. But if you do decide to pair your Emperor up with a regal then please avoid the cheaper grey belly regal, that will not work as already they struggle somewhat in captivity. Look for a yellow belly or redsea specimen.

And well done for doing some research and preparation towards a new fish, instead of random purchase.

Yeah I used to have a orange belly regal; lost her when my cucumber crawled into my return pump. I was going to add them at the same time but I had a french angel juvenile with her before and he flipped one day and tried to kill her, so I didnt want that to happen with the emperor so I decided to just get the emperor. She is a very beautiful fish! If I add another angel with her Ill either do a queen angel or a townsend angel thats more on the same level of aggression as my emperor. Shes chill right now but shes also only 5 or so inches right now! Dont want her bullying a regal when she outsizes it!
