Hi All

Any tips please on trying to fit in both filter mat and skimmer In a Red Sea G2 250? The Red Sea hardware page does not I think show the sump configured quite as mine is. Can you squeeze in both mat and skimmer, push reservoir to the side nearest the down pipes and connect without removing anything or maybe just the fixed vertical glass panel? Red Sea’s ‘easy operation’ option necessitates removing the reservoir altogether I think which defeats the object of buying a tank with ATO. Or should I fit both units one in front of the other (skimmer at the back), keep the cup/sock tray, put the reservoir over the tray, and then once a week let the reservoir run almost dry, clean sock/cup for cleaning, replace and carry on? Make sense? I am confused. Thanks all.

This is what I could find on Red Sea's website, so I'm guessing Option 2 would be what you're after.
