David,

Add a pearlberry and one of my red milles w/ blue tips to my list of frags to be purchased in the future. LMK when they're ready and I'll swing by and pick them up. Thanks.

The pearlberry is the one I got from you a few years ago. The piece is kinda small, so I could only make 1/2 in frag or so. On the other frag, are you referring to the prostrada? If so, I lost the colony in the transition to LEDs.

Awesome collection of SPS seased. If you ever have any frags you want to sell please let me know as I could use one of everything on that list.

Do you have pics of your stock and tank? Also what parameters have you found to be most successful in your tank?

Eventually I'll have more sps. Right now I have a small amount I have in the 55 gallon
Elephant Skin
Birds nest
Plating Orange monti
Encrusting orange monti

And in the 125
Pavona coral

The 125 will be getting more some day lol

Alittle off topic but I'm currently using a 40 breeder that was going to be used as a frag tank as a quarantine tank. I'm hoping to have a frag tank setup so I can hopefully use frags as trades and what not. Then I seen that jbj frag tank for sell and I'll be darned that if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck. I just don't have the funds at the moment and I keep trying to think of things I could sell to pick that up. It definitely be cheaper in the long run to get that than having to piece together the breeder. I had no idea that coral was more addicting than fish lol

No rush on the pearlberry David. Sorry to hear about the prostrata; that was the one I was referring to :-(

Sounds like a nice start!

Have pics to share? Also what are you using for lighting and what are your parameters?

I'm running two Orphek Atlantiks, and use Red Sea Coral Pro salt. My current param's are:
Sg 1.026
Ph 8.2-8.3
dKh 10.4
Ca 450
Mg 1300
No3 0.0
Po4 0.0

Here's one of the unknowns, the A. secale I think, and my frag of tort.

Nice to see more LED users. At first I thought my reefbreeders may not be sufficient enough alone for a SPS dominant tank but seems others are having success. Parameters seem similar to most. I run my alk more around 7.6 dKH. I am trying the whole low nutrient and NSW parameters approach with coral feedings 2x a week. All good so far

Great pics! Looks like you have great colors and some good sized SPS pieces! Mine are still little frags for now.

I have a few frags that have been cut and ready to go. I have 3 red planets, a cali tort, 2 blue stags, blue tip stag, setosa, purple tip tricolor (big 2 frags). I also have some nice size pieces of pokerstar montis and 2 purple haze montis. I can make a post in the for sale forum with prices and pictures if anyone is interested.

Please do! I have a lot of space to fill up but a lot of times it is hard for me to get up to Knoxville which is where most of you are I'm guessing but I would be interested depending on the frag and the price!

When i saw the title to this thread, i chuckled out loud. My wife gave me one of those, "great hes finally lost it" looks.... I see you have your answer to the question. This club has some of the nicest SPS i have ever seen. I keep softies mainly, but that's because, I prefer the colors and the way the flow with the water. I am adding a few select SPS pieces in however. Having just recently having the privilege to see @cee tank, I can say it is very very nice!

Shucks, I'm blushing...

I actually am envious of David's tank as I prefer the mature, grown-out, "old school" colonies that only comes with patience and long-term dedication and is a testament to his successful reef-keeping skilz.
