I checked compatibility before I got it, everything checked out fine. I'm just confused on the wiring from my old thermostat, theres multiple codes for all 6 of the wires, which makes it complicated figuring out which wire goes where on the nest. The app is intuitive, but doesn't necessarily make figuring out the coding easy.

I bought a Google nest thermostat and need some help identifying some wiring! Any help would be greatly appreciated
If you continue have issues, call tech support, have brand of ac & furnace, model #s , serial #s,ready. It may take a long while before pick up phone on their end. Before virus, took me, my techs, up to 1 1/2 hr wait. Before they pick up. Bummer.

I just installed one a few months ago. I'll try to help as best I can. Do you have a pic of the previous wiring?

Any chance you can lift up the wires so I can see the labels underneath?

I installed it yesterday, but when going through the tests, the heating tests would only push cold air. Left them running the tests for 30 minutes, they'd stop then I'd start the test again. Hot air never came out. When the AC test came it would push cold air and continue to, whether it had reached the set temp or not. I changed the heater pump setting from O to B thinking that could be the issue, and the air was warmer, but not heated. After about 6 hours of tinkering between the thermostat, the app, and online searching I gave up and just hooked the old thermostat back up.

Do you have gas or electric heat? You have to tell which one you have, I had the same problem to start with, it would not fire the heat since I had it set to electric and not gas.

This look like what you might need, unless you did that already

I'll try this method. Thanks!
