At lights out they extend a long ~1" sweeper. If they had a hard shell I'd say vermetid and they don't look like hydroids but they are soft. Any ideas on ID and if possible eradication strategy?

Many thanks

Do these move at all? My first thought would be a ribbon worm/Nemertean of some variety, but that seems unlikely.

No they appear to be sessile however they do scrub off with a toothbrush. Having said that they appear to have almost completely disappeared. The only additions to the tank have been 6 or so bumblebee snails taken from the shutdown of a holding tank. I've not seen a bumblebee near one but can't rule out them being involved in the reduction.
