Any good stores in Knoxville over from Nashville

There are three stores in Knoxville: Coral Reef, Aquatic Marine, and the Aquarium. Coral Reef and Aquarium are in West Knoxville (around the Papermill/Kingston Pike intersection) and Aquatic Marine is on Clinton Hwy (it's behind the Bed Store, so easiest thing to do is to navigate to Target on Clinton Hwy and then pull into the Bed Store parking lot, which is across the street from Target, and go behind their building).
Aquarium doesn't support ETRC at all. They're ok. But lately most people in this club frequent AM and sometimes CR.
Aquarium and AM both have SW and FW. CR is marine only.

Agree with Mel, I like the coral reef a lot. Aquatic marine is good too. I don't go to the aquarium often.

Wear a Coral Reef t-shirt into Aquarium if you want a little excitement one day. It's been done before.

I've done it several times. I wear it into AM as well but mainly just to bug them to get their own shirts

One of the old members (can't remember which) wore his into the store and was asked to leave by the owner. We all had the shirts then because a previous owner of Coral Reef had a silk screen business and made a bunch of shirts to hand out. I wore mine in once after that but didn't run into her that day.

I totally agree with everyone else here ! Coral Reef Rocks ! Their people are so helpful and do it with a smile on their faces all the time. Aquatic Marine is the same - great people to help you out and both take great care of their fish and tanks. I wish I had a T-Shirt from either one to wear into Aquarium ! With my big ........ it couldn't be missed ! The Aquarium owner and help are rude and most don't have the knowledge to truly help out anyone new to this hobby (FW or SW) and I found that out first hand when I started up my SW tank. I wouldn't buy LR or a fish from them - even with QT you are taking chances on getting a diseased fish in your tank. I feel very sorry for the livestock there - watched a beautiful horned blenny get beat to death by a puffer one Sat. I go in there about once every 6 mths just for curiosity. If you want quality go to Coral Reef or Aquatic Marine. Okay off my soapbox now.......:wink:

Back in those days it was more of a running joke to do it. Tons of people wore CR shirts into Aquarium...most not out of spite but then it became this really funny thing to do and was just good for a laugh more than anything else.
