I had a bubble tip that split into 5 and took over my tank. And each one was huge! Are there any nems that don’t rally split and are mixed reef/fish safe? Or are there ways to get the RBT not to split?

Not so much. All anemones can split (at least common ones in hobby). Some are just far less likely to split but those aren't generally consider reef/livestock safe (carpet). Doesn't mean you can't keep one and be successful, just be aware you may have a fish disappear occasionally. Those can also get very large.

As far as BTAs...they're gonna split more often. Some much more often. You see a lot of comments like "if you stress them...if you feed them....if you direct flow on them" for causes of splitting. All of that is true. What you don't usually read is you can do absolutely nothing and your healthy, happy BTA is gonna split and split again...and again...

I went from one to a dozen (or more) in a couple years, dang exponential growth. Gorgeous, but definitely could stand to cull the herd a bit.

+1 to rock flowers, They dont split, they reproduce sexually. It does happen in aquaria, but it is rarer than btas splitting all over the place.

+2 to rock flowers. They can spawn in your tank but it's very hard to keep the babies alive. Normaly you see them one day and there gone a few days later. Honestly recently I have fallen in love with rock flowers.
