Curious if a person could swap out the dosers with the x10’s and get the lower dose amounts per min

No, the controller is programed for the dosing pumps that are used. Also the hardware used to drive the two may not be the same as used with the X10.

Can you use the minnow for awc?
It will depend but it is possible depending on the amount you intend on changing in a day. I use Intllab dosing pumps but my water change is spread out in 4 water changes a day. The 4 changes came about because I test alkalinity 4 times a day and then do a water change. After the water change I do my All For Reef and kH buffer dosing. So 4 changes syncs it up with the others.

No they use diff drivers. the one in minnow are DC dosers. the X10 dosers are stepper. Completely different control circuits. Hence the lower price of the Minnow.
