Dear Customers and Partners,

We wish to inform you that GHL and Aperture (BRS) have mutually decided to terminate our partnership effective immediately due to differences in company policies and visions. We understand under a business standpoint that Aperture aims to focus more on brands with better profit expectations, particularly their own brands.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Marine Depot, with whom we have had a very successful business relationship for many years, and to BRS. Both companies have been merged into Aperture, and we appreciate the many years of cooperation.

Looking ahead, GHL is committed to enhancing direct customer support in North America. We will be investing in alternative sales channels and expanding our warehouse in the USA to shorten delivery times. Additionally, we will continue to improve the GHL Store USA to better serve our customers.

We are also excited to welcome inquiries from dealers who may have been hesitant to stock our products alongside BRS in the past.

In summary, we believe these changes will lead to better product availability, faster delivery times, and improved customer support.

Thank you for your continued support.

Best regards,

Matthias, CEO GHL USA and Germany

Thanks for the explanation. I have a question - do you have another vendor that you're going to wholesale through in the US?

This is appreciated because I am looking forward to getting an X10(or what is out when I’m ready) due to another person I know and mentor from, is using one with great success and really likes it.

Guys, if you’re going to do more direct sales how about having some less expensive shipping options. Having to pay $15 shipping no matter what I buy is crazy.

I hope with expanding your warehouse this means you will now stock basic maintenance products for example, doser maintenance kits or sensors (ion). Waiting months for basic items like this really makes me want to go in another direction.

Hi

I don't know if you refer to purchasing through dealers or from GHL USA direct, but GHL USA has already a huge inventory. Most of the around 1000 different GHL products are always in stock, if not they are re-ordered from Germany and arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
Basic, wear parts are always available in significant amounts, from the mentioned maintenance kit for example we always have several dozen in stock. The one and only exclusion was the IOND sensor, but this has other, already widely discussed and explained reasons. But even there we were able to improve.

Core products as ProfiLux Controller, powerbars, Doser, Versia pumps Mitras LX etc. are also more than enough in stock.

So I really wonder where you have this information from that GHL USA would not have sufficient stock (please let the IOND sensor topic out of this discussion, this is not representative for the entire stocking situation at GHL USA).

All that said:
GHL USA MEMORIAL SALE IS STILL HAPPENING! DUE TO THE SPECIAL AND UNFORESEEN SITUATION AND THE HIGH DEMAND WE DECIDED TO EXTEND THIS SALE UNTIL SUNDAY!

Hello Matthias,

I applaud you for coming on this platform and interacting with your customers. But like most CEOs, they really don’t know what’s happening at the ground level.

However, you should be aware that I wouldn’t make a comment like that without having evidence to back it up. This year alone I’ve had to cancel an order in order from one of your distributors in order to receive my products and I am currently still waiting for products to be shipped to me.

And I’m quite confused as to why you don’t want the ion sensor being mentioned in the conversation that I started about maintenance items? Ording to your website the ion sensor is a wear item which would make that a maintenance item.

On February 24, 2024 I purchased several maintenance items, including doser maintenance kits and doser hoses. After about a week of no notification of shipping or any notification of any kind about my order, I requested a refund and it was then I was told that the items I had ordered would take 2 to 3 weeks attached. You will find an email thread along with the copy of the order.

Most recently on May 7, 2024 I ordered a few maintenance items as well as an ion sensor to be fair on your website. The ion sensor states it’s going to take 6 to 8Most recently on May 7, 2024 I ordered a few maintenance items as well as a ion sensor to be fair on your website. After clicking on the ion sensor, it does state that the item will take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. However, this is a maintenance item but also with this order. I ordered another set of doser maintenance kits. When I checked out, I made sure to write a note that said it please send all items that you have in stock. All items arrived, except for the ion sensor and doser maintenance kit. You will find the order attached as well.

I can provide order numbers if needed.

I forgot to add I still don’t have the dozer maintenance kit that I ordered on May 7.

As a CEO I am very well aware what is going on in my 2 companies in the US and in Germany, but of course I can't know every little detail.

As said, the IOND sensor is the big exception. Yes, it is a maintenance item, no we don't have it in stock (yet), at least not in large amounts.

I will have to investigate why the other maintenance items, these simple and cheap doser spare parts, had a delay.

But my intention of starting this thread was to inform the public about the changes in regards to BRS/Aperture, not to discuss specific orders or products or a delayed shipping of those, so I kindly ask for your understanding that the rest of this discussion will be handled personally, not over public forums. I will discuss what you wrote here with Vinny, get the facts, Vinny will get in touch with you thereafter.

Thanks.

Hopefully IOND’s are in US stock and you’ll get yours soon based on the 5/24 post in this other thread

I hope you add more repair people in the USA. My KHD director has been sitting on your bench for two weeks with no update on when it will be shipped back.

I have heard that the repair person may be busy shipping out new orders this week. Doesn't sound like a professional operation.

This is the complete opposite of my experience with the GHL USA Store. Nearly everything I've ever ordered from replacement parts to the Maxi doser has shipped within 1-2 days of ordering.

Hope it gets worked out for you!
