Be careful with those fools gold paly (appropriately named)...they turned into a worse nuisance than blue cloves and gsp in my friend's tank..so bad so, he had to shut down, scrape off all the palys from his backwall and overflow and then restart his tank again. They look nice when it's only one or a few of them, but not so nice when they overtake anything and everything in their paths. Just be warned. lol.

Very true. I make kalk paste, turn off all pumps, and cover the ones I don’t want. Let sit a while. Keeps them at bay.

They are a beautiful addition to any tank and very good growers. One strategy used like with other corals is put them on their own small rock placed on the sandbed
