Hi guys. First post ever here. I recently got into the hobby. I have a bio cube 32 tank. Running the stock lights as well as a pretty powerful 10 inch LED additive light.
Recently got some corals (zoas frag pack) from WWC. One of the zoas (angry avocado) has 5 heads. 2 of them aren’t opening.
All the other zoas are open and actually appear very good quality. I’m wondering if it takes more than 2-3 days for a new zoas to fully open all of its heads? I think it’s in a good spot considering all of its neighbor zoas are happy. Thanks for the help!

Will check the parameters when I’m home again tonight and update, yesterday’s were: ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0

The tank is 2 months old. Ammonia and nitrite have been 0 over a month.

the light in use in addition to stock lighting is Reefbar Pro 50/50 blue/white

will send pic of the angry avocado when I am home and when lights are on!

They were slow to open. I have a 5 head frag. On day 2-3 the last 2 finally partially opened. About 1 week out now, and they are still only partially open. They do look healthy (from the small opening I can see)

I was always under the impression that 0 Nitrate is not good and that a lot of corals like it to be in the 5+ range.

Seems to be majority vote yeah. I don’t think 0 nitrates is as bad as +nitrites or ++++phosphates though.
