My baby nem. Only her and my algae Blenny, Dr Pepper, survived when my large tank crashed. I moved to my small tank until I worked on my other tank. Right now she’s doing better than before.

I got a few RFA yesterday in Houston
Several at FJW from Dennis and one from Oceanlife. They really popped under higher Kelvin lights. They are still beautiful under white light. I think I will set up an aquarium just for them and use about 14000K lights to show them off.

Ron's PVC caps really works well. It put them all in a bucket. Put in the caps, then I check temperature and salinity. A few minutes at the most. When I find that the temperature and salinity was about the same, the already attached and I just drop them right into the tank. No flowing around. I just bury the caps right away. This AM they are all open and flat.

Has anyone noticed any correlation between the care you were giving your anemone and your anemone splitting? My BTA is GIANT and has grown 3x the original size it was when I got it back in April. Feeding 1-2x per week. I'm excited about the possibility of it splitting to give me more anemones around the tank and more chances to get my clowns interested, but I'm not feeling very patient about this process. Any ideas on a possible timeline for this to happen?

(I know they're unpredictable and it'll just be an guess)

There is likely a heterogenous population of what we call E. quadricolor. Some strains naturally split and some do not. You are likely having one that does not split unless you take a knife to it.

Anyone in this thread dose NoPox with no ill affects on their anemones? Just curious as all other corals are thriving in my mixed reef but anemones struggling.

Rainbow BTAs! Started with 3. I have now sold a total of 8. Currently have 3 again, but the big one in the middle is currently splitting.

I recently got this magical Maxi Mini, T. tapetum. It has all the color of the rainbow in it. Can’t wait for it to move to a position where I can show it off. These are pictures of it just placed into the tank.
