No... that's not normal.

- How old is the tank?
- what's your lighting like?
- what are your parameters, and have you noticed any swings?
-what's your flow like?
i will recheck my parameters at lunch today and update those last i checked last week that were all good the tank is 8 months old and lighting shows a par of 280 flow is low-moderate didn't seem too high my temp was a little high 2 days ago Texas heat hasn't been kind this week i will say the anemone looks healthy and when he does stick it looks good everything else in tank looks great just the somersaulting anemone had me concerned

truthfully imo 8 months is pushing the lower limit for tank maturity and anemones. If your parameter tests don't expose an issue my thoughts are the tank just isn't settled enough to give it the environment it requires.
