I don't remember seeing a clam in there ether.....

I know no maximas in this cube :( I usually roll with a clam or two in my reefs. When we move I owe it to my self to get a couple nice blue maximas and a zebra in the new setup. I have absolutely no room in this reef like I did my last one. Especially with those big polynesian and tahatian maximas.

I had one for about a year. I ended up selling it. Funny I did a tank move with him one January. It was cold! I had my friend hold on to him during the move. He came over in his jeep no heat in the jeep either. I had him in a little 2 gallon bucket. I remember it was dark cold and water splashing everywhere! We finally made it to his house I put him in his reef and he opened right up. I had him for a couple months after that until I sold him.

Beautiful tank. What stand are you using?

Thanks! Its a stand I had made. If roughly measures 48x24x36.I had it done this way so I have plenty of sump room. Having a 40 gal for my sump allows me the room to have what I need and also more water volume.

Tank looks even better in person. Was sad to see it broke down, but waiting for the next one

Thanks! Some took a while to color up after I introduced them.

I have them both on blue mode (long pulse)

How do you like that mode for the sps? I've been debating on switching my setting around and just seeing what others use on theirs.

My PE has gonna down since switching from TSM- NTM and before I ran Lagoon.

Might needa try long pulse

I like the pulse because I don't have a constant directional flow at any giving time. With both being on the pulse I get a good random flow. One way to check it is to take a cube of frozen mysis and rub and crumble it with your fingers as you hold it near the flow you see your flow pattern with all the fine particles that you crumbled and smushed.

Did you use anything to keep the tank cool from the MH? Just curious as I'm planning on running a MH on my 31g cube when I get it going and wanted to see if you had any heat issues.

Hey Parker, Im using a chiller its a 1/4 hp Oceanic to keep temp stable. Being an open top system it makes things easier to keep cool. The chiller rarely comes on.

Thanks Rev:) Not really. I do pounce on the ones that are bothering any of the corals though.
