One of the first things I bought was a refractometer... paid way too much at the aquarium for it but oh well I got one. Reef glue would be handy I'd say. And as far as a heater, I've got a 200 watt. Would a 300 be too much? I also seen a digital ph meter bit wasn't sure just how accurate it would be...Refractometer is a great suggestion! If you have corals, test kits is another option. Reef glue? Bone cutter? A spare heater?
