Plumbing in a 95g Fiji Cube tank to use as a frag/growout tank and need top for this Framing Tech stand. Wanted to avoid using ply if possible. I'm guessing HPDE + closed cell foam? If you have any ideas or better yet, a good source for a top material, it's much appreciated.

Something about the quartz worries me..
I guess if you have a thick enough leveling mat.

But on a Rimless, i would want something a little softer under the leveling mat, just incase of something like an earthquake, unless your area has no earthquakes, or some form of hard vibration.

But that looks very nice.. and looks very well done.

You can skip the HDPE and just use some kind of foam to relieve point pressure. It's a myth that you need the entire bottom pane supported. See this.
