I’ll need to start a build thread this weekend. But, I should be ready to slowly start moving rock over. I’d like to get this transferred into the stock tank over the next 2.5 weeks. My new tank will be here in under 4 weeks. Only the sand from the existing tank won’t make it to the new tank. I’ve been moving 35 gallons of water between the tanks using two versus for the last 3 days. I marked both sumps when they were both running independent of one another and also placed optical sensors to shut this transferring down if things get out of balance. I unhooked my cryptic sump (that’s filled with TBS rubble and has been running for months in the old tank) and have that running 100% on the stock tank. I’d like to try and super gently get some of the old sand into some glass baking pans and place it in the stock tank so all my CUC have some place to search for food. Specifically the ones that live within the sand. Well, here to hoping for no cycles!
