Alk monitors?

(Not locally) Have a dr. Bridge monitor, just monitoring and using my cal RX to maintain, highly accurate once dialed in! Know nothing about alkatronics came out after I already had mine! Trident always another option. Good luck [emoji256]
Thanks Dan. That is the KH Guardian correct? I've seen good and bad write ups on those. They are more reasonably priced by hundreds of dollars byt seem to have PH probe issues. How often do you need to change out your PH probe?

Yes the Guardian, the bad reviews where when they first came out getting it adjusted (I was one of those full of frustration) once it’s dialed in it’s been 99% accurate. My first probe “they say was the problem” once I switched the probe, I have had it running 8-9 months with no issues. Mixing the regent has to be perfect so advise a scale. The motors have a little hum, and it beeps for testing. For the price point it’s a great machine. I’m personally buying the trident when it releases, since I already have the controller no brainer. Hear great things about alkatronics but like I said came out months after I got mine or might have went that route.

I was using the KH Guardian up until last week. Initially it took a few weeks to get a few kinks out, then it tested fine. I was able to get results through a Pm1 on Apex so was able to monitor... I know have a Trident, and can tell you it was worth the wait!!!! It's far superior to the KH Guardian!!!! Everything about it. Results posting in Apex Fusion, regents super easy to swap in and out.

I have the Alkatronic. Love it. It’s a bit noisy when it tests, but it is the best thing I ever bought for my tank.

I just missed buying yours. I was transferring money into the account to buy it and it took a few minutes.....those minutes cost me the purchase.
Then on top of all of it the transfer didn't go through but the bank paid out and hit me for $35. Now today I have to go yell at them a little.
I have a Cerebra controller so I'm not sure if the Trident will be far better for me than just using a monitor to initiate or stop dosing.
Dan, keep me in mind when you decide to sale. I haven't decided which route I'm going for sure yet.

I just had a debate with my friend about this last night he feels it’s useless another way they taking our money, but guess why the convo started I didnt test for 2 weeks doing blind up doses of 1ML per week went from 8 to 6.5 KH, I remember the first 3-4 months i used to get excited testing daily or every 2 days, one year later once or twice a week 2 years later once a week and now going on 3 testing becomes a drag lol I’m all for it! Debating on alkatonics or trident for the guardian I will have to change too much
Now ReefBot is in the mix. I might have to go that way as I am in a phosphate battle with my 15 year old rock work. The ability to just look at the numbers daily would be worth a ton on top of the alk testing.
