So for the longest time I thought I was doing a good job with my tank keeping things in check. Got a little comfortable and thought things were well. Limited knowledge, thought that I had a good crop of coralline growth on my rocks and glass, and then onto my sand bed. Was cleaning emails this morning and saw an email from Reefs2Go that was about cyano and red slime algae eating blue leg hermits. The picture matched what I have in my tank...red slime. What can I use to get rid of it?
36gal bowfront with a porcupine puffer (I know tank size, but he is happy and we are too). When we had him in QT he was very aggressive towards the turbo snails that we put in with him so we have kept a CUC out of his tank figuring they would just end up being food. I am open to all options here, within reason.
