I know absolutely very little, or at all anything about algae spawning, but if I have a tank that's full of green hair algae for example, and I pull out a snail out of it and put it in another tank that has no algae, would the snail be able to carry to the new tank algae spores and cause growth?

What of sharing of tools....and things - Ie. water siphon hose, scrapers, etc.

i don't believe that to be the case. however, i have heard/seen people say "not to pop bubble algae inside the tank as it'll spread" - i've done so with no change in amount of BA available in my tank at the time.
