I'm dealing with an algae problem and I got a microscope so that I could have a better look.
Is anyone able to give me a positive ID?

I took a sample from a tuft on the sand.

Not very clear image, it seems a mix of Cyanobacteria and dinoflagellates.

I went back and had another go. This time I mixed a tuft of algae with tank water. Gave it a good shake then put some water under the microscope.

I took videos instead this time. Do these help ID?
