Wondering to identify what this could be. A lot of brown spots on rock and sand,

22 gallon tank
About 2 months old
Dosed with copepods a few days ago

Dont really care about it growing on the rock, but advice to keep the sand clean? Currently moved the power head in the middle and pointed it a bit down.

Any cleaning crew to recommend? I have one hermit crab right now and a few starter coral.

Looks like normal tank aging. What are your nitrates reading? Anything in tank besides the crab/corals?

CC is a little light. I usually recommend 1 snail per 5g and 1 crab per 10g if you have an average bioload.
