Good morning Reefers,

So, I’ve already settled on some suggested light settings for their optimal growth and health, and I was wondering if anyone could help me create an .aip file with these parameters, which I can easily load into my AI app.

Here are the settings I’d like:

  • UV (380nm): 25%
  • Violet (405nm): 40%
  • Royal Blue (450nm): 80%
  • Blue (470nm): 80%
  • Green (520nm): 5%
  • Deep Red (660nm): 5%
  • Cool White (9000K): 20%

Photoperiod:

  • Ramp-Up Time: 1 hour
  • Peak Lighting: 6-8 hours (between 10 AM and 6 PM)
  • Ramp-Down Time: 1 hour
If anyone in the community can create this .aip file and send it to me, I’d greatly appreciate it! This would make it much easier for me to directly load it into my AI Prime 16 Reef setup for my tank. Thanks in advance for your help! - Or if anyone can make any suggestions for a mixed reef please do.

me personally I would recommend going on ai’s website and go to their signature series. They all have very successful tanks and you can tweak some of the time settings if need be. I would look at saxbys settings so many people stand by it. Another option is going on Facebook ai prime group and you can scavenge that group and find millions of settings to import into the light.

Thank you for the information and happy Sunday !

Do you know the Facebook link to the group. I would love to get on there and check those out. I have been on the signature series site but I’ve tried them all and none that I really like I want a more realistic time frame with lights like come on when sun is up and down when it’s done etc
