AI Prime 16 HD keeps asking for a PIN?!?

Seems green means running a program.. don't think the # of times the red flashes is important.
The fact the "new" light doesn't go "teal" is though.
I'd think it means you haven't really reset it..for whatever reason.

Thanks for the link, I've tried everything several times. (You know, like when you're hungry and keeping going back to the fridge again like you expect there to be something different in it this time?) I DID manage to get it to blink red a few times by holding down the reset button even after the first red flash. There's then no light, and then several red flashes, then nothing. When I let go of the button, I then get green solid light.

Lord give me the patience to not throw the thing at the fish tank!

Just to check.. You unplugged it.. waited at least 10 sec Held button down then plugged it in?

honestly I think AI needs to clear it but apparently they are of very limited help..

I can't confirm that I waited 10+ seconds on each attempt but you can bet I will be trying again. I don't physically remove the plug from the outlet.... they are plugged into a power bar so I flip the switch to on or off but I wouldn't think that makes a difference. I really hope they get back to me but I'm losing optimism which is why I'm getting more frustrated/angry/hopeless. It's the darned PIN request that keeps tripping me up! And their response a few days ago was that they never ask for a PIN to it has to be something else in my phone.

I assume the pin is a password?

This one doesn’t say to unplug to reset password but idk..

Did you also ask seller? Maybe they know the pin

Oh my friggin' word - both lights are now connected to my AI app! How, you ask? I have NO CLUE! I've been doing the same things over and over and over again. Get fed up, walk away, go back and try the same things over again. The ONLY thing I might have done differently this last time is during the "reset" steps, I QUICKLY took my finger off the gray reset button. I really don't know if that made the difference but all of a sudden the light was connecting and told me it was added successfully. I should be jumping up and down screaming with joy but I think I'm too numb and tired to enjoy the victory. Maybe tomorrow I'll celebrate. For now, I'M NOT TOUCHING A THING!

You think I should disconnect the new light from my app and try to connect it again tomorrow, just for fun? :eek: Granted, I love to gamble, but the stakes are too high in this game - I'll be happy it's working and hope to never spend 3 days fighting with a device again. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR ACCOMPANYING ME ON THIS JOURNEY!!!!!! :face-blowing-a-kiss:
