Just got an ai prime light and Im looking to have a tank that mainly hosts anemones and zoanthids. I looked at all the signature schedules on ai and the only one I could find with anemones and zoanthids was Karen Vazquez’s schedule. Would you guys suggest using her schedule?
Another thing, she has the schedule set to the blue light on all night, so basically the light is never fully off. I read from multiple sources that the light shouldn’t always be on, but maybe it’s doesn’t matter if it’s the blue light. Opinions?

I believe you can use the hydra presets too. I personally use david saxbys.

And i would only have a night time % of blues if the lunar cycle is active which it is in my tank.
If it has 4% on all night it will decrease the light per the lunar cycle. No moon = no light.

Some prefer strict photo periods though.

Is it a Prime 16HD or the older model? The older models used blue lights for moon light, is the schedule you are looking at for the older model?

If it is the new 16HD, this is a good source.
You might need more than 1 light for a 45g tank.

Yes it’s the new 16HD and I know I will end up needing 2 lights but for now I don’t have any coral so one should be fine for a little.
