Hi I am starting this Waterbox 20 gallon as a Caribbean tank. I started with a non photosintetic gorgonian, Florida ricordea and a Zoa.

Since I am not placing any SPS in my tank, do you think my AI 16HD settings are good enough for softies and LPS?

Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, no. Turn it up. I have AI Prime 16 on my 15 gallon softie tank (mushrooms and zoa's) and I have it set at 70%. My 15 gallon is 12" depth.

How tall is your tank? Remember it only has a 24" depth capability, so how high is the light from the water, and how far down does the water go? If it was me I would be more around 75%-80% on your tank.

Thank you. After some measurements I have 12.5” between sand and top water. From top water to top of tank I estimate about an inch (tank is not leveled). I measured 11.5” between light and surface water.

First 4 100% the rest 50% on my old 18" nano cube ×2-16hds.
One 16hd at the above setting will be fine for what you are growing.
