After marine velvet?

Ok guys this is my first real post here and I have a couple questions about this tricky subject.
I had marine velvet roar through my 120 gallon reef. So I took out all the fish that made it and qt then with copper there MV free now. And eating but get stressed cause there's 4 fish in a 28 Nanocube. It's been 28 days since all fish were pulled is it dumb to put them back in? They will have to go back in 2 weeks no matter what cause of my vacation. What would you do?

Andy, unless you properly treat, rid the problem, and run your tank fallow, 29 days will not work, if you are putting them back in anyways, what does it matter? A google search on treating marine velvet would offer a much better walk through on the "how and why" than my opinions though!

I would also suggest running copper in your qt for 4 weeks, again, jmo. I recently thought I had marine velvet, just a bad case if ich, I think. I'm qt ing all my fish for 4 weeks with copper, and running my tank fallow for 8 weeks. With ich though, that is the life cycle, and without a fish to host, it dies. I don't know about marine velvet so much, so I'm sure others will offer up better advice!

Ok ya the fish have been in coper for all 28 days and tank DT has been fallow for 28 days too I guess I will wait and hope everything works out

It's been 5 weeks since all fish were taken out is it safe to add them back the qt has too much stress with ammiona?

I wouldn't. A minimum of 8 weeks is the requirement; 12 weeks being preferred.
