After cleaning the skimmer, the foam height cannot reach its original position.

Why is it that after cleaning my NYOS skimmer, the foam height cannot reach its original position? I have checked the motor's rotating parts and the needles are not broken.
Even if I turn the adjustment knob to the highest position, I cannot reach the original height. The air intake volume has not changed and has always been fully open.

How long ago did you clean it? I find that after cleaning mine it can take awhile to build the foam back up.

About 24 hours ago, I disassembled and cleaned it thoroughly. However, when I cleaned it before, this situation did not occur after cleaning, so I am a bit confused now. Did I install it incorrectly, or did I damage or miss any parts?

Give it a few days. Skim changes day to day depending on many factors. It looks fine. If it bothers you close the output a little to get the foam an inch higher. I wouldn’t go higher than that.
