So i figured out my low pH problem is due to not enough air in the water. Where should I place the aerator in my biocube? I was thinking under the bioball strainer in chamber 2 so the air would flow up through the bioballs...thoughts?

I think wherever you put it you'll end up with a ton of microbubbles in the tank. I know you said you're not looking to add a skimmer but it's not only good for waste removal but aerating your water also.

If you're just doing it as a test then I think the first chamber farthest from the return pump would minimize the bubbles in the display.
