Hello,
To give some background... I have a 10g nano tank that has running for 7 months. Using AI Prime 16HD (light schedule posted below) with HOB Filter running a marineland filter cartridge and HOB Skimmer. I had to move the tank (20min drive) 1.5 months ago and ever since my zoas are not looking great. Not opening fully, had one other frag melt, and not growing. In fact, zoas really havent grown for past 4 months, even before the move. I have been in the hobby for while and have not previously had issues growing zoas in other tanks but I'm definitely not an expert on them. Other livestock includes some astrea snails, 2 clowns, cleaner shrimp, and mix of other corals.
My Parameters:
Salinity: 1.025 (refractometer)
Temp: 77
PO4: 0.08 (Hannah, tested weekly, stable)
Nitrate: Around 20 (Hannah, tested weekly, stable)
Alk: 9.5 (Hannah, tested daily, stable)
pH: 8.1-8.2
I have posted pictures of the zoas below, most frags look like ****. I am considering a Hydrogen peroxide dip but don't want to stress them out more. I figured I would give them time, but its been almost 2 months and no change. One of the frags is super stretched out so possible not giving them enough light?? My light schedule is posted and I am getting small growth on SPS so I would think its enough. What would you guys do?
Thanks in advance.
